Oracle Business Process Management Suite 11g Puts Your Business in the
Driver’s Seat

Oracle Business Process Management Suite 11g (Oracle BPM Suite) hands business users the keys to a race car that not only performs at a high level, but also easily adapts to changing conditions. With a single platform for all processes, prebuilt best practices and templates, and built-in patterns gathered from years of experience, Oracle BPM Suite 11g empowers business users, letting them evolve their processes as business complexity grows.

“Business people are the ones who know how processes work, such as order management or supply chains,” says Ajay Khanna, senior principal product marketing director, Oracle Fusion Middleware. “We want them to be in the driver’s seat for managing processes, and Oracle BPM Suite 11g lets them easily discover, design, and execute business processes, as well as work more collaboratively with IT.”

The Process Composer feature offers sophisticated modeling capabilities and rich simulation, allowing business users to analyze and optimize processes. Oracle BPM Suite has many social collaboration features that let business users work with IT and other businesspeople on process design and innovation. Before production, they can collaborate and design optimized processes. In production, users can work together on complex issues—utilizing Oracle BPM Suite as a tool for process discovery as well as collaborative work management.

“Business users can effectively collaborate with IT to define processes, user interfaces, business data, and business rules—all things that IT had to do previously in isolation—making sure what IT delivers is what business users expected,” says Khanna. Oracle BPM Suite also delivers improved visibility and rich process analytics that provide actionable, real-time decision management for business processes.

Oracle BPM Suite 11g is a complete process management solution, handling both structured, well-defined processes and more-flexible and unstructured work. Adaptive case management helps users manage processes that inherently have a high degree of variability, such as insurance claims. Integrated with Oracle Real-Time Decisions, it also helps knowledge workers make more-informed decisions in response to a variety of business situations.

Finally, an expanded list of process accelerators helps save time with prebuilt processes and components that leverage years of BPM best practices “Why start from scratch,” asks Khanna. “Oracle and its partners have years of experience creating and implementing business applications. Process accelerators build on that experience, giving customers a running start.”
