Customer-Led Oracle Retail Executive Conference Draws Elite Global Community

With 95 percent of conference content presented by fellow retailers, this year's Oracle Retail CrossTalk drew record crowds, including 296 retail executives from 28 countries and 134 brands.

The conference was a testament to the fact that Oracle continues to extend its lead in delivering both best-of-breed retail technologies and a platform for major transformations—including back-office capabilities.

"Customers made it clear that Oracle is delivering on both propositions—confirming with conference presentations that Oracle is amassing a solid track record on both counts," says Robert Parker, author of the IDC Retail Insights Perspective devoted to the event.

Peer-to-Peer Content
CrossTalk has always focused on peer-to-peer content, and this year's CrossTalk featured 38 high-profile retail speakers, including representatives from American Apparel, Best Buy, Disney Stores, Gap, Saks, Staples, Vodaphone, Walgreens, and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

For those who did not attend the conference, customer presentations as well as other CrossTalk content is available on the Retail Asset and Community Knowledge portal (known as the RACK, registration required).
