Oracle’s Latest Primavera Portfolio Management Release Adds Greater Precision to the Decision-Making Process

Oracle’s newest version of Primavera Portfolio Management is designed to help organizations generate value faster by quickly getting them the information they need to make more effective decisions and strategically prioritize, execute, and communicate their enterprise portfolios.

Easier to Use
With new, intuitive graphical workflows, this latest release enables organizations to automate their business processes and speed the flow of approvals to improve resource productivity and increase transparency.

By automating workflow and approval processes, organizations can use Primavera Portfolio Management Release 9 to more quickly evaluate investment proposals, choose the strongest business cases, perform “what if” comparisons, and analyze performance progress. In addition, newly enhanced early warning alerts can trigger notifications as soon as new data highlights possible problems. The system signals pre-established contacts chosen to respond to the alerts.

Plus, a single user interface now unifies the entire Primavera suite of products, easing user adoption of processes to manage portfolios and projects.

Increased Agility
“Organizations are constantly looking for ways to improve the speed and precision of their decisions and work without creating environments and systems that limit their personnel through rigid structures and inflexible processes,” said Mike Sicilia, senior vice president, Oracle’s Primavera. “The latest release of Primavera Portfolio Management meets this demand by further streamlining processes and supporting enhanced decision-making, helping drive better value from portfolios. In addition, the new UI clearly demonstrates Oracle’s commitment to providing a seamlessly integrated enterprise project portfolio management product suite.”
