Gartner: Oracle a Leader in Governance, Risk, and Compliance
The IT research organization Gartner recognizes Oracle as a Leader in the enterprise governance, risk, and compliance (EGRC) sector. The latest assessments were revealed in Gartner’s new Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance Platforms released earlier this fall.
“The Oracle Fusion Governance, Risk, and Compliance applications suite provides any size enterprise across all industries a comprehensive controls platform to protect their assets,” says Chris Leone, Oracle senior vice president, applications development. “By combining advanced GRC controls with their ERP systems, organizations can drive operational improvements and process efficiencies, while meeting regulatory requirements. Forward-looking firms can use GRC technologies to adapt to changing business conditions by incorporating business risk information into their decision making and by continuously monitoring critical processes across multiple lines of business.”
Citing the growing maturity of the GRC market Gartner says vendors now must differentiate themselves by offering advanced risk management capabilities, such as tools for analyzing the impact of risks on business performance and domain expertise in multiple highly regulated industries.
