Lending Club CFO Sees New Level of Insight and Efficiencies in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud Service
The highlight of Oracle OpenWorld 2012 for many financial management executives was the buzz around cloud computing and Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud Service (Oracle ERP Cloud Service). Adding to that buzz was Lending Club’s selection of Oracle ERP Cloud Service to help increase insight and efficiencies.
In his keynote address, Oracle Senior Vice President Thomas Kurian explained how Oracle ERP Cloud Service is helping organizations become more collaborative and efficient thanks to its breadth of business functionality, including financial accounting, risk and control management, project management, procurement, sourcing, and inventory management.
An Endorsement from Lending Club
At Oracle OpenWorld, Lending Club announced that it selected Oracle ERP Cloud Service to improve decision-making, implement robust reporting, and take advantage of the cost savings provided by the cloud. “Oracle Fusion Financials is clearly the industry leader, setting an entirely new level of insight and efficiencies for Lending Club,” said Carrie Dolan, CFO of Lending Club, the leading platform for investing in and obtaining personal loans.
The company will integrate Oracle Fusion Financials in the cloud with its current, internally developed online lending platform. The automation, communication, and collaboration features in Oracle ERP Cloud Service will help Lending Club increase efficiency through better workflow, as well as provide greater control over financial data. Lending Club is also implementing advanced analytics and reporting to help improve decision-making through the embedded business intelligence within Oracle ERP Cloud Service.
