New Release: Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Drives Predictable Performance with Superior Analytics

Launched in April 2012, Release 11.1.2.2 of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management solutions link: delivers new modules and enhanced functionality to drive more predictable performance, including dramatically faster planning and analytics, streamlined close processes, and deeper insight into project-based financials.

"By accelerating key financial processes and driving speed-of-thought planning, the new release of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management solutions provides unprecedented tools to keep your organization ahead of the competition."

Key new capabilities include
  • Oracle Hyperion Project Financial Planning
    The newest product in the Oracle Hyperion family provides tools for project-based budgeting, funding, approvals, and tracking. Improve financial performance and increase alignment between project planning and tracking.
  • Oracle Hyperion Planning with Oracle Exalytics
    Leverage Oracle Essbase running on Oracle Exalytics to achieve much greater scalability and exponentially faster planning and modeling.
  • New Account Reconciliations Manager Module
    Improve speed and accuracy and reduce reporting risks at period-end close using this new feature of Oracle Hyperion Financial Close Management.
Planning at the Speed of Business
In addition to the massive improvements of speed and scalability when customers run Oracle Hyperion Planning with Oracle Exalytics, a number of other features are also driving planning at the speed of business.

For example, the new release makes planning more accurate thanks to a built-in predictive analytics feature based on Oracle Crystal Ball. And the new Oracle Hyperion Project Financial Planning provides comprehensive tools to manage the financial performance of key projects. Finally, new, detailed profitability and microcosting features help improve performance insights.

Faster Reporting, Reduced Risk
In addition to the new account reconciliation manager module, the latest release includes prebuilt modules and starter kits to ensure full compliance with constantly changing regulatory requirements, including IFRS, XBRL, and sustainability reporting.

It's also possible to leverage new configurable dimensionality in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management in order to drive internal and external reporting initiatives. And the new release provides executive visibility into financial performance with mobile delivery.

Faster Time-to-Value, Reduced Cost of Ownership
To help speed return on investment while reducing total cost of ownership, new innovations in the latest release include
  • Improved user productivity and collaboration with revamped Web 2.0 user interfaces
  • Prebuilt ERP integrations with Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financials, and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Financials’ Commitment Control feature to help customers simplify integration and speed time to value
  • Out-of-the-box integration of Oracle Hyperion Data Relationship Management with ERP data sources, including Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 and Oracle Fusion Financials, for faster and easier management of chart of accounts and other financial master data
