Save the Date: Three Top HCM Conferences Slated for September and October

Oracle technologies and thought leadership will be prominently featured at three of the year’s biggest conferences devoted to human capital management. The events, which take place from mid September to mid October, will cover the latest HCM trends, innovations, and best practices.

Taleo World 2012

Oracle President Mark Hurd, Oracle Senior Vice President Steve Miranda, and Oracle Taleo Executive Vice President Jason Blessing will be featured keynote speakers at Taleo World, slated for September 11 to 14, 2012, in Chicago.

Sessions include customer presentations, along with overview and roadmap sessions for both the Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management family of applications and the Oracle Taleo talent management cloud. Other highlights include Oracle University Oracle Taleo training classes, regional user group sessions, breakout sessions, product demos, and a customer appreciation party.

Oracle OpenWorld 2012

Plans are being finalized for HCM sessions at the upcoming Oracle OpenWorld 2012, which will run from Sunday, September 30, through Thursday, October 4, in San Francisco.

The event includes presentations devoted to HCM best practices and demos of Oracle’s full line of HCM solutions. Attendees have the chance learn how their organizations can capture the performance and cost benefits of cloud consolidation; improve security with Oracle Identity Management solutions; and leverage Oracle’s extended lines of HCM applications, including Oracle Fusion Applications.

HR Tech

Registration is now open for Human Resource Executive’s HR Technology Conference and Exhibition, which will run from October 8 to 10, 2012, in Chicago.

Oracle HCM executives and products will be featured throughout the conference.

On Tuesday, October 9, beginning at 8:45 a.m., Steve Miranda, Oracle senior vice president of applications development, will join a panel of cloud and HCM experts participating in Bringing HR into the Cloud—Naomi’s Master Panel. The discussions will explore how organizations will collectively pioneer this next frontier in HR technology.

Also on Tuesday, Cathy Brubaker, global director of Human Capital Development at The Dow Chemical Company, will deliver a session entitled Aligning the Workforce at The Dow Chemical Company from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., with an introduction from Senior Vice President of Development, Jason Blessing.

On Wednesday, October 10 at 900 a.m., Steve Boese, Oracle director of talent management strategy, will copresent HRevolution: How Social Tools Can Empower a Global Organization. Attendees will be invited to share their experiences using social networks for idea generation, information discovery, and collaboration.

The Oracle booth will also offer demos of Oracle’s Fusion Human Capital Management family of applications, and Oracle E-Business Suite human capital management, Oracle’s PeopleSoft human capital management, and Oracle Taleo talent management solutions.
