Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management Gains Industry-Leading Recruiting and Learning Capabilities

With the recent integration of Oracle Taleo applications into the Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management family of applications, the suite now includes what independent analysts have called market-leading capabilities for recruiting and learning management. The move comes on the heels of Oracle’s acquisition of Taleo, which was finalized earlier this year.

These added capabilities for the Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management family of applications creates one of the industry’s most comprehensive suites of HCM solutions. In addition to recruiting and learning management, the suite also includes global HR and benefits, payroll, performance, embedded social networking tools, and analytics, all on a comprehensive cloud platform.

Oracle also reiterated that it will continue to support and advance the Oracle Taleo platform for existing users through the Oracle Applications Unlimited policy.

A Leader in Talent Management
Independent analyst firms have long recognized Oracle Taleo as a top choice in the HCM sector. Earlier this year “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Integrated Talent Management 2012 Vendor Analysis” (document number: 234365, April 2012) placed Oracle and Taleo in the Leaders category. Writing specifically about Taleo, IDC said the Taleo platform “is again a market-leader in this analysis, with strengths in many areas including depth in capability of the individual talent functions, a robust partner ecosystem, strong brand recognition, global reach, and a track record of innovative R&D.” (Source: IDC.)
