Latest Release of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications Speeds Strategic Insights

In May 2013, Oracle launched Oracle Business Intelligence Applications11.1.1.7.1 which delivers a wide range of enhancements across the product line—plus two new in-memory analytic applications and a rearchitected solution to speed both implementation and data integration.

Deeper Insights
Significant expansion of content in Oracle Financial Analytics, Oracle Human Resources Analytics, Oracle Project Analytics, Oracle Supply Chain Analytics, and Oracle Procurement and Spend Analytics enables line-of-business managers to quickly zero-in on what matters, make informed decisions, and drive better business outcomes.

Faster Time to Value
In addition to new setup and configuration tools, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications 11.1.1.7.1 has been completely rearchitected to leverage Oracle Data Integrator, a comprehensive solution for all data integration requirements, including big data, application integration, and business intelligence data warehousing.

In addition, customers can choose the option to replicate their data in real time using Oracle GoldenGate to do more large-scale extract, transform, load processes and minimize the impact on source systems.

First In-Memory Application for Spend Analysis and Forecasting
The latest release includes Oracle Indirect Spend Planning, the industry’s first and only in-memory planning application for spend analysis and forecasting. It combines powerful what-if analysis and scenario modeling with historical data to

  • Identify high-opportunity spend reduction areas
  • Monitor and evaluate spend performance
  • Improve future planning cycles

In addition, the new Oracle Student Information Analytics in-memory application provides academic institutions with best-in-class reporting and analytic capabilities to increase faculty, staff, and student productivity; streamline operations and institutional advancement; and improve student success.

The latest release also includes of hundreds of other enhancements and new capabilities across the Oracle Business Intelligence Applications family.
