See How Your IdM Strategy Stacks up with New Online Security Assessment Tool

Oracle’s new online security assessment tool helps security professionals gauge the maturity of their current identity management (IdM) strategy and infrastructure—including the ability to support strategic corporate objectives and capitalize on new business opportunities.

By answering 10 questions, participants gain insight into three key elements of IdM.

  • Organization. Is your organization developing corporate competency around IdM, including both strong organizational structures and strategic skills development?
  • Architecture. Do you have all the necessary structural pieces in place to ensure effective IdM?
  • Governance. How effectively is your organization enforcing and monitoring its IdM policies and systems?

In addition to an overall security maturity ranking, participants can also register to receive a report that explains the significance of each question and makes specific suggestions for strengthening their IdM posture.

IdM as a Business Enabler
Over the past decade, IT security has become a critical component of business strategy. Executives understand that security is vital to growth, from new product development to strategic mergers and acquisitions. Now the challenge for senior security professionals is to develop an ongoing dialogue within their organizations about information security and how it can impact strategic objectives.

"A carefully completed security assessment can provide exactly the kind of documentation security leaders need in order to emphasize to executives any current security gaps, as well as the risks associated with them. Then they can decide together how to ensure that their security strategy is truly aligned with the new digital experience," says Darin Pendergraft, Oracle’s senior principal product marketing director, Security.
