Oracle Cloud Builder Summit—Zero to Enterprise Cloud in Two Hours

In August, Oracle launched the worldwide Oracle Cloud Builder Summit series, an event where attendees learn firsthand how to plan, deploy, and manage an enterprise private cloud using Oracle Enterprise Manager 12call in a few hours.

Designed for executives, cloud architects, and IT operations professionals, the summit series will eventually reach nearly 100 cities around the globe. The conference comes just as cloud computing moves from an emerging technology to a widely adopted strategy to lower costs and respond more quickly to business needs.

Based on real-world scenarios and deploying engaging, interactive role-playing, the event shows attendees how to
  • Build and operate clouds
  • Efficiently consolidate onto shared, scalable cloud platforms and infrastructure
  • Secure and integrate clouds
  • Fast-track applications to the cloud
Why Oracle for Cloud?
Oracle's cloud computing solutions are not merely a collection of disparate IT components, but a complete, enterprise-class platform, including the world's leading database and middleware complemented by the industry's most scalable virtualization technologies.

"Bringing together all these industry-leading technologies, only Oracle can enable organizations to establish a fully managed enterprise-class cloud and demonstrate it in just two hours," says Moe Fardoost, senior director, Oracle Marketing.

Just as important, Oracle cloud customers are not locked into a rigid cloud solution. Oracle uses the same technologies to power both private and public cloud solutions, making it easy to move assets from one to the other.

Building and operating an enterprise cloud that can run mission-critical applications is perceived as very complex. "By attending the Cloud Builder Summit, customers are finally going to see that enterprise private cloud is real, and learn how to get there," says Fardoost.
