Oracle Exadata Performance, Cloud Simplicity: Introducing Oracle Database Cloud Exadata Service
Oracle Database Cloud Exadata Service brings the full power of the Oracle Exadata database platform to the cloud. With this service, customers can run Oracle databases in the cloud with the same functionality, performance, and availability of on-premises Oracle Exadata-based production databases, already in operation at thousands of mission-critical sites worldwide. Oracle databases deployed in the cloud as part of this service are 100 percent compatible with those that are deployed on premises, enabling a smooth migration to the cloud, as well as a seamless transition to a hybrid cloud strategy.

Oracle Database Developer Choice Awards
Nominations are being accepted now through August 15, 2015 for the Oracle Database Developer Choice Awards. The awards celebrate and recognize technical expertise and contributions in the Oracle Database community. In 2015, awards will be given out in the following technology areas: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle REST Data Services, Oracle Application Express, and database design. A panel of judges, composed of Oracle ACEs and Oracle employees, will select the finalists for the awards, but the community will choose the winners. Voting will take place from September 15, 2015 through October 15, 2015. The winners of the Oracle Database Developer Choice Awards will be announced at the YesSQL! celebration during Oracle OpenWorld 2015. Learn more about the awards and submit a nomination today.
