Latest Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Solutions Release Delivers Broad New Mobile Capabilities

In March 2014, Oracle announced the release of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (Oracle EPM) solutions, Release 11.1.2.3.500, which gives greater power to today's mobile workforce to capitalize on Oracle’s enterprise planning, reporting, and financial close applications while on the go.

Highlights of the new release include

“Organizations of all sizes are experiencing rapid adoption of mobile devices by employees," says Hari Sankar, vice president, product management at Oracle. "With these new mobile capabilities, business users can achieve significant improvements in decision quality and productivity."

Streamlined EPM Workflows and Approvals
Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Mobile accelerates approval cycles by enabling managers and executives to perform reviews and approvals from mobile devices. It is available for both iOS and Android mobile devices.

To speed adoption, the new release leverages a consistent, intuitive workflow across the Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, and Oracle Hyperion Tax Provision applications.

Oracle Hyperion Planning Hits the Road
Oracle Hyperion Planning connects operational assumptions with financial outcomes, thanks to a rich, driver-based planning and modeling framework. With the latest release, all commonly performed Oracle Hyperion Planning tasks—including accessing task lists, approving budgets, viewing reports, entering data, and running planning scenarios—can be done from iPads and Android tablets. Users also benefit from fully optimized browser-based interfaces for tablets.
