Oracle Introduces Powerful New Tools for Attracting and Managing Talent
To help organizations more easily attract, retain, and reward talent, Oracle announced a wide range of enhancements to Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud and Oracle Talent Management Cloud. These expanded solutions support changing workplace requirements by delivering more interactive, social, and mobile employee experiences. They are available as part of the latest releases to Oracle Cloud customers.
The new capabilities include enhancements in three important areas, including the user interface, embedded social capabilities, and mobile capabilities.
User Interface Promotes Self-Service
A more intuitive user experience runs throughout Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud Service solutions to simplify self-service activities for managers and employees. This means people who interact infrequently with human resources processes can quickly complete tasks and understand the impact of those tasks through embedded analytics from a single place.

Social Integration Runs Deep
Oracle’s embedded, context-aware social networking tools already facilitate greater collaboration within the workforce. This makes social technology a real productivity and engagement boost. Deep social integration delivers benefits in six core human capital management (HCM) activities.
- Helping employees attain performance goals through greater collaboration with others
- Streamlining talent reviews
- Providing a platform for performance reviews
- Enabling human resources (HR) specialists to work closely together when designing benefits plans
- Connecting business managers with HR specialists to initiate promotions

In addition, new tools available in Oracle’s social sourcing solution enhance the ability of employers to promote new job openings to employees. By highlighting these opportunities on a wider range of social networks—such as through integration with LinkedIn—employees can more effectively recruit new talent for their organizations. For example, employers can incentivize their workforce to share company videos or promote referrals to cultivate new talent.
The release also makes it easier for potential job candidates to follow a company’s job openings on Facebook or Twitter. And the latest edition of Oracle’s social sourcing solution also provides multilanguage support for international sourcing and updates that make it easier for users to sign up for job alerts and write endorsements within the application. Mobile Applications for Multiple Platforms
Oracle Tap gives organizations secure access to their Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud applications via mobile devices. Users can now access worklists, respond to approval requests, or review talent scorecards from anywhere. Now, in addition to support for Apple iOS devices, a new version is available for smartphones and tablets running the Android operating system.
