eKit Legal Notices

Oracle University now supports the electronic delivery of OU class Student Kits, called Oracle University eKit, for certain classes.

For eKit supported courses, OU will send an email notification to the student email ID on record, to provide access to that student’s eKit. The eKit notification email will have the following Subject Line: Download Instructions and Access for Your Oracle University eKit Account. Click here to view a sample eKit notification email.

Each student confirmed for an Instructor Led Training event will receive this email notification, which will include a unique activation key to access and download the eKit Student materials for the eKit-designated course. Internet access is required to download the eKit.

The eKit notification is sent to the email id associated with the student in the registration record. To ensure timely access to the eKit materials, Students must provide the email ID at the time of registration.

For students attending a Private Event, the eKit notification email will be sent to the training coordinator email id in the Private Event registration record. Each student attending a Private Event will receive access to an eKit.

Students will have a period of 90 days from the day they receive their eKit notification email to access and download their eKit. Each eKit will be personalized with the student name and email address and is licensed to the registered student for their use only. Reproduction or distribution to a third party of eKit material is strictly prohibited.

Generally, hard copy student kits will not be provided in the classroom for eKit-supported courses. Students are not required to access and download the materials before class, and Students can access the eKit materials during class.

Students requiring a hard copy student kit should contact their Oracle University customer service representative upon completion of their training event. Additional fees and shipping/handling charges will be applied to all orders for hard copy student kit materials.

Oracle University will abide by the Oracle Privacy Policy, a current version of which is set forth at http://www.oracle.com/html/privacy.html
