Training philosophy:
Christoph’s objective is to achieve the highest level of student satisfaction. He attains this goal by teaching well-prepared courses and developing a good classroom atmosphere and student-instructor relationship. Student reviews: I was very pleased with the course! Christoph was extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter, and also very helpful in dealing flexibly with individual student needs. He managed to pack into three days a very intensive and comprehensive training session with lots of real-world examples and demonstrations. Training philosophy:
I believe that each student deserves my full attention and the best level of expertise that I can provide. To that end, I seek to continually learn not only about our products, but also about how our customers leverage these products to solve their business challenges. Student reviews: David is the most knowledgeable instructor that I’ve had in over 10 years of IT training courses. He had great real-world examples and was very eager to help us solve our own projects. He frequently covered use cases that were brought up by class participants, which was really enriching for all of us. He even helped some of us solve technical issues that we were currently facing at work. This was an excellent learning experience overall. Thanks David! Training philosophy:
I strive to share my knowledge and expertise with students and get them technically prepared to succeed in their jobs and careers. In return, I earn their respect and their loyalty. I see many of them coming back to take more OU courses with me. Student reviews: One of the best training courses I have taken! Joe has in-depth knowledge, a great sense of humor that keeps the class positive, and a very encouraging (and enthusiastic) teaching style. He was responsive to questions, provided clarifications, and welcomed participation and questions. He also kept us on our toes by checking with us often for feedback. Joe is the best Oracle instructor I have ever encountered. Training philosophy: Student reviews: Laura was very clear, easy to understand, and super knowledgeable on the subject. She did an excellent job of teaching, helping out with problems, and explaining all aspects of the course content. She was also very patient. Laura was wonderful! Training philosophy: Student reviews: I learned ADF concepts well, and I’m eager to attend more training on ADF or SOA. Srilekha has an excellent way of explaining topics clearly and making them easy to understand. She also enthusiastically answered all questions. I really appreciated her strong knowledge and skills. Overall this was very useful training for me. Training philosophy:
I try to provide students with lots of useful information in an understandable way in the allotted amount of time. Student reviews:
Training philosophy:
I have always felt that training is a cooperative effort between the instructor and students. My goal is not only to teach the students, but also to guide and facilitate their learning. I think we can all learn from each other, so I encourage open discussions and the sharing of experiences to keep learning fun and keep students engaged Student reviews:
Training philosophy:
I try to be prepared for classes not only with the planned content but also with practical “know how.” I am always up to date on Oracle technology and IT trends so I can better understand my students’ issues and needs. Student reviews: Uwe is an excellent instructor. He “knows his stuff,” is very well prepared, and is one of the best trainers ever. He also has brilliant timing and marvelous people skills. I appreciated his experience and his ability to explain difficult topics with simple demos. His explanations were always crystal clear. Training philosophy:
It is okay if one does not always know the answer, but one must understand the question. To really understand a thing well, explain it to someone. I teach what I know―not what is written in the book. Student reviews: Joel is a brilliant instructor with an excellent grasp of the subject. He has great knowledge of Exadata and related topics, and he shared this knowledge with us. He also was able to provide information about previous versions, which was very useful. Joel’s technical expertise and real-world DBMS experience were evident throughout the course. Manager's Comments:
Training philosophy:
I think that only a small part of our success in the classroom is related to how much we as instructors know about our subjects. I think we are mostly successful because we know where to find the answers to questions we cannot answer, and we have the ability to clearly convey that information in a manner that empowers our students to succeed.
