Oracle welcomes the Primavera community to Oracle OpenWorld with a special two-day Primavera Program. Don't miss this opportunity to network with product experts and peers and learn about the latest Primavera product releases from Oracle. Customers of Oracle's Primavera line of enterprise project portfolio management (EPPM) applications can choose from more than 70 educational sessions, while also having the opportunity to learn about the broad portfolio of Oracle solutions. Oracle OpenWorld attendees interested in learning more about how project portfolio management software can help reduce risk and control project costs are invited to attend as well.

Project Management Professionals: Earn Professional Development Units at Oracle OpenWorld
Oracle supports the ongoing professional development of project management professionals (PMPs) and the maintenance of PMP certification. By attending the Primavera keynote speech and technical program presentations at Oracle OpenWorld, PMPs can qualify for as many as nine professional development units (PDUs). Typically, each session qualifies for 1.0 PDU at the conference, and each keynote speech qualifies for 1.0 PDU. Please calculate the number of PDUs earned based on the number of sessions actually attended. This year's program number is: 1492 - PP2009.

Oracle's Primavera Contract Management is a document management, job cost, and field controls solution that keeps construction projects on schedule and on budget through complete project control. Sessions in this track demonstrate how you can control your construction project's plan, budget, forecast costs, and deliverables, in order to maintain the success of your projects and the future of your business. This track also includes sessions involving integration of contract management systems with other Oracle application lines, including Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and AutoVue.
Portfolio Analysis
Effective portfolio analysis enables organizations to derive maximum value from their investment portfolios by prioritizing strategic initiatives and ensuring these initiatives support their evolving mission and objectives. Sessions in this track focus on how you can use Oracle's Primavera solutions to prioritize strategic initiatives, ensure investments deliver the expected benefits, and comply with regulatory imperatives.
Project and Program Management
Oracle's Primavera solutions are used for prioritizing, planning, managing, and executing projects and programs. Sessions in this track highlight Oracle's Primavera project portfolio management (PPM) solutions for satisfying each team member's needs, responsibilities, and skills. Sessions focus on a range of project management topics, including collaborative planning, optimizing resources, capturing project status and progress, and effectively communicating with project and program performance reports and dashboards. This track also includes customer case studies and discussion of the benefits achieved by integrating PPM systems with the Oracle portfolio of products.
Enterprise Project Portfolio Management
Oracle's Primavera project portfolio management solutions are complementary to Oracle's other application solutions, including financials, project management, human resources, and business intelligence, and form the first comprehensive enterprise project portfolio management (EPPM) solution from a single vendor. This track focuses around the integration the complete Oracle portfolio of applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and AutoVue. Sessions in this track focus on how these combined offerings for EPPM will help you make better portfolio decisions; improve governance; mitigate risk; and manage projects, programs, and resources to deliver tangible results.
Risk Analysis
Oracle's Primavera Risk Analysis is a full lifecycle risk analytics solution integrating cost and schedule risk management. Sessions in this track focus across the spectrum of risk management, providing an objective view of required contingency to account for cost and schedule uncertainty, as well as analyzing the cost effectiveness of risk response plans.
Primavera Technology
This track features sessions focused on the technical issues related to Oracle's Primavera products and is geared toward database and IT administrators. Primavera developers lead sessions ranging from Web services and database optimization to enterprise architecture and scalability.
