Charles Phillips | President, Oracle | Biography [+/-]
Charles E. Phillips is President of Oracle Corporation and a member of the Board of Directors. He joined Oracle in 2003. Before joining Oracle, Mr. Phillips was with Morgan Stanley, a global investment bank. Prior to Wall Street, Mr. Phillips served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps in the 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines. Mr. Phillips holds a BS in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy, a JD from New York Law School, and an MBA from Hampton University. Mr. Phillips is on the boards of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, The American Museum of Natural History, New York Law School, Viacom Inc., and Morgan Stanley. In February 2009, Phillips was appointed as a member to the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board to provide President Barack Obama and his administration with advice and counsel regarding the economy.
Safra Catz | President, Oracle | Biography [+/-]
Safra A. Catz has been President of Oracle Corporation since January 2004 and a member of the Board of Directors since October 2001. She served as Oracle's Chief Financial Officer from November 2005 to September 2008, as Executive Vice President from November 1999 to January 2004, and as Senior Vice President from April 1999 to October 1999. In May 2008, Ms. Catz was also appointed to a three-year term as member of the board of directors for HSBC Holdings plc, one of the world's largest banking and financial services organizations.

Ann Livermore | Executive Vice President, HP Enterprise Business, HP | Biography [+/-]
Ann Livermore is executive vice president of the HP Enterprise Business, an approximately $54 billion annual business that encompasses storage, servers, software and services. The products and services from this organization serve business customers of all sizes in more than 170 countries.
For more than two decades, Livermore has been involved with building solutions to help HP customers manage and transform their technology environments to optimize business outcomes. She joined HP in 1982 and held a variety of management positions in marketing, sales, research and development, and business management before being elected a corporate vice president in 1995.
Livermore holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University. In 1997, Livermore was elected to the board of directors of United Parcel Service.

Thomas Kurian | Executive Vice President, Product Development, Oracle | Biography [+/-]
Thomas Kurian is Executive Vice President of Oracle Product Development and reports to Oracle CEO Larry Ellison. He is responsible for leading all aspects of product strategy, software development, and delivery of Oracle's software product portfolio including Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and ERP, CRM, and supply chain management applications. For the past several years, Mr. Kurian has been responsible for the Oracle Fusion Middleware family of products. Under Mr. Kurian's leadership, the Oracle Fusion Middleware business became the fastest-growing business within Oracle and the industry's leading middleware product suite. Since January 2008, Mr. Kurian has also led the development for Oracle's next-generation business applications, Oracle Fusion Applications.
Mr. Kurian has been with Oracle since 1996, holding various product management and development positions. Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Kurian worked in London, Brussels, and San Francisco as a consultant with McKinsey and Company, an international management-consulting firm, serving clients in the software, telecommunications, and financial services industries. Mr. Kurian has a BA in electrical engineering from Princeton University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He also has an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He serves as an advisory member on the boards of several international venture funds and software companies.

Michael Dell | Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Dell | Biography [+/-]
Michael Dell, born in February 1965, is the chairman of the Board of Directors and chief executive officer of Dell, the company he founded in 1984 with $1,000 and an unprecedented idea—to build relationships directly with customers. In 1992, Mr. Dell became the youngest CEO ever to earn a ranking on the Fortune 500.
Mr. Dell is the author of Direct From Dell: Strategies That Revolutionized an Industry, his story of the rise of the company and the strategies he has refined that apply to all businesses.
In 1998, Mr. Dell formed MSD Capital, and in 1999, he and his wife formed the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, to manage the investments and philanthropic efforts, respectively, of the Dell family.
Mr. Dell serves on the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum, the executive committee of the International Business Council and is a member of the U.S. Business Council. Mr. Dell also serves on the Technology CEO Council and the governing board of the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India.

S. Gopalakrishnan | Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Infosys Technologies Limited | Biography [+/-]
Gopalakrishnan (Kris to his colleagues) is one of the founders of Infosys Technologies Limited. As chief executive officer, he plays a key role in defining the company strategy and using technology and innovation continuously to maintain its leadership in the industry.
On June 22, 2007, Kris took over from Nandan M. Nilekani as the CEO and managing director of Infosys Technologies Limited. Kris previously served as chief operating officer and as president and joint managing director. His responsibilities included customer services, technology, investments, and acquisitions.
Kris's responsibilities at Infosys included management of design, development, implementation, and support of information systems for clients in the consumer products industry in the U.S. Between 1987 and 1994, he headed the technical operations of KSA/Infosys (a joint venture between Infosys and KSA) as vice president. In 1994, Kris returned to India and was appointed deputy managing director of the company.
Kris is currently the chairman of the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM), Kerala, and vice chairman of the Board for Information Technology Education Standards (BITES), set up by the government of Karnataka. Kris is the vice chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Southern Regional Council. He is also a member of ACM, IEEE, and IEEE Computer Society.
Kris holds a master's degree in Physics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
