ThinkQuest Live 2009 During Oracle OpenWorld

Sponsored by the Oracle Education Foundation, ThinkQuest Live brings together the winning teams from the ThinkQuest Website and Narrative competitions. The winning teams will travel to ThinkQuest Live, the annual awards event held during Oracle OpenWorld to celebrate the students' accomplishments, expertise, and skill in winning the competitions.

During last year's Oracle OpenWorld, approximately 50 students from 10 countries, along with their coaches and parents, convened in San Francisco for ThinkQuest Live 2008.

This year, the top winning teams will travel to the San Francisco Bay Area to participate in ThinkQuest Live 2009, where they will take part in a series of learning and recreational programs and be honored at the annual ThinkQuest Live Awards Dinner.

The ThinkQuest competitions have been embraced by educators worldwide as an effective way to engage students in online collaborative learning. All qualifying Web sites and narratives are published in the popular ThinkQuest Library, a rich online resource visited by millions monthly. To date, more than 7,500 student-built Web sites have been published in the ThinkQuest Library.
