JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 8.98 Update 4

A set of new enhancements to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne web client improves the user experience. A new Related Information Application Framework for External Web Applications enables users to link JD Edwards EnterpriseOne transactions to virtually any external application that can be accessed through a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Users can also organize their favorite row and form exit, and navigate to these options through an intuitive right-click shortcut.

In this new release, two key enhancements have been added the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Application Management pack for Oracle Enterprise Manager. Enhanced charting enables administrators to select JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Enterprise Server and HTML Server metrics to include in Oracle Enterprise Manager charts. Log file monitoring allows administrators to use Oracle Enterprise Manager to monitor entries made to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne log files for proactive action and service level management. The integration of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system administration tools with Oracle Configuration Manager will improve the interaction between customers and Oracle support.

The certification of Oracle BI Publisher 11g improves interactive reporting, providing, among other improvements, the ability for users to define the layout of a report through an interactive drag and drop web browser interface.

Other enhancements delivered in this new release include an integration between JD Edwards EnterpriseOne business services and the Oracle Enterprise Repository and Address Book Data Privacy, which provides additional controls to secure access to sensitive data contained in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Address Book.
