Oracle Service Architecture Leveraging Tuxedo (SALT) is a standards-based, bidirectional Web-services gateway for Oracle Tuxedo that supports enterprise applications written in programming languages such as C, C++, and COBOL. Oracle SALT allows applications to access existing Tuxedo services as standard Web services, as well as allowing Tuxedo applications to call external Web services with a high-performance, easy-to-use, configuration-driven model.
