Oracle Tuxedo Application Runtime for CICS and Batch

Oracle Tuxedo Application Runtime for CICS and Batch provides the target environment for migrating mainframe applications from IBM z/OS to an open systems application grid running Oracle Tuxedo. IBM CICS applications run unchanged using standard CICS APIs and services, while batch applications use JCL functions and common utilities to execute as on the mainframe. These capabilities are available on top of the proven, robust, scalable Tuxedo infrastructure at a fraction of the mainframe cost. Combined with the automated migration tools for adapting COBOL programs, converting JCL, and migrating mainframe data in Tuxedo Application Rehosting Workbench, this solution can simplify and accelerate mainframe re-hosting projects while reducing overall cost and risk.
