Software that Boosts Bandwidth and Availability
Oracle's Sun Trunking 1.3 software allows you to aggregate up to four Sun Gigabit Ethernet adapter card ports or up to 16 10/100 Sun Fast Ethernet adapter card ports into a single virtual link or trunk. Once aggregated, these point-to-point links act as a single fat pipe to provide increased bandwidth and high availability, enabling higher aggregated data transfer rates than any single Sun Gigabit Ethernet or Fast Ethernet adapter card link.
