Sun ZFS Storage 7420 Power Calculator

Scalable to over 1 PB of capacity, Oracle's Sun ZFS Storage 7420 appliance delivers industry-leading performance. The appliance uses Flash-enabled Hybrid Storage Pools to dramatically improve application response times, easy-to-use DTrace Analytics to optimize performance with minimal intervention, and powerful storage controllers to run multiple data services that increase efficiency and deployment flexibility. The ZFS file system and self-healing technologies provide superior data integrity, while cluster failovers and Flash-based write caches increase data availability.

The intent of the power calculator is to provide guidance for estimating the electrical and heat loads for typical operating conditions.

For precise results, actual measurements based upon the exact hardware/software/environmental conditions are recommended.
