FIVE STEPS TO QUALITY

Oracle's Reman options go through a rigorous five-step process to earn the Remanufactured label.

Inspection
Major components receive an initial assessment and a screening for the most recent hardware revisions and firmware patches.
Traceability
Component barcode scanning provides traceability during testing, factory processing, and customer installation.
Build and Testing
All products must pass several proprietary performance and reliability tests.
Quality Control and Serialization
Component serial numbers are individually documented to ensure complete traceability.
Safety Testing, Inspection, and Packaging
Final steps include Hipot (high potential) electrical testing and a visual check. All of Oracle's Sun remanufactured products ship in new packaging that is prequalified to OEM standards for safe delivery.

SPARE PARTS

For self-maintainers, Oracle offers spare parts for most Oracle systems. These parts are for replacement purposes and may be available for both current and End-of-Life systems. Availability is not guaranteed as inventory levels vary greatly and supply is limited. If you have questions about how to purchase spare parts, contact your local Oracle sales representative.
