Oracle delivered the world's fastest database performance on the SPARC Supercluster configuration using 27 SPARC T3-4 servers and Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition with Oracle Real Application Clusters and Oracle Partitioning. This new world record TPC-C benchmark beat the next best result posted by IBM by nearly 3x in throughput performance while delivering more than 3x better response time for new order transactions, and represents 26 percent better price/performance.
