The Oracle development teams manage and implement joint integration projects for Oracle/SAP database, Oracle Solaris, and Oracle Linux, while Oracle Global Technology Centers for SAP provide pre-sales support, including sizing and IT infrastructure optimization. Oracle Database and Oracle support teams are also on site at SAP support centers in Tokyo, Palo Alto, CA, and St. Leon-Rot/Walldorf, Germany.

for SAP Certification Roadmap
Oracle Multitenant, the last major Oracle Database 12c option to be certified for SAP environments, is now available with early customer shipment status.
SAP on Oracle customers interested in using this option for SAP NetWeaver-based systems should contact Christian Graf via email in order to get more information and access to the relevant SAP Notes. The email should include the SAP customer number.
Over the last twenty years, SAP and Oracle have worked together to provide customers with a supported SAP/Oracle environment, when running SAP applications on top of an Oracle database. SAP also has enjoyed the right to resell to customers a license to use an Oracle database in connection with SAP applications, as well as the right to support the combined SAP and Oracle offerings. SAP and Oracle would like to announce that they have agreed to an extension of their Reseller and Support agreement.
This extension continues the existing Oracle and SAP relationship. For the next three years (through December 31, 2017), SAP customers can continue to acquire Oracle licenses from SAP to support SAP business applications. For an additional period of two years, SAP will continue to provide integrated support for SAP/Oracle application packages (through December 31, 2019) and has committed to support Business Suite 7 core application releases through 2025.

As of April 2016, new Oracle Exadata X6-2 and X6-8 with Oracle Exadata software version 22.214.171.124.0 are certified for SAP applications.
New Oracle Exadata X6 Database Server processors deliver up to 25 percent higher performance than the previous-generation Oracle Exadata X5 processors, and the same is valid for the new Oracle Exadata Storage Server, which offers high capacity and extreme flash with new processors that are up to 25 percent faster than Oracle Exadata X5.
