Agile License Key Files

Agile products require a license key file for installation and use. License Key files that do not technically enforce the license restrictions and restrict use of these products are provided for download below.

By downloading one of these license keys you are certifying that you either (i) have a signed agreement for production use of Agile software entered into by you and Agile/Oracle, or (ii) that you have licensed additional licenses for Agile from Oracle. While this key removes technical restrictions as to the number of users and products that may use the production, it does not authorize you to deploy Agile for production use beyond what you licensed for such use. All license terms and restrictions specified in your Agreement and ordering documents / order forms remain in full force and effect.

Named User Licensing

Use the following license key to install the Agile Products (ATTENTION! Use for Named User licensing only! If you are an existing customer licensed by Concurrent Users, see Concurrent User Licensing section below. This key will deactivate the concurrent user functionality in your installation. Oracle support will not be able to re-issue a license key to recover this functionality.):

This license key grants access to all Agile products for up to 1000 application users until Dec 31, 2020. More specifically, this license key enables:

• Product Collaboration, including Dashboard, Multi-Organization
• Product Quality Management
• Product Governance & Compliance
• Product Cost Management
• Product Portfolio Management
• Integration Framework, including SDK, AIS, ChangeCast
• Product Interchange
• Datamart and Analytics for all products
• Languages: English, German, French, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional)

If you like to disable unpurchased products or limit number of application users to the number purchased, you may use Agile Key Generation Tool [.zip, 2Kb] to create a custom license key.

1. Download the key generation tool to a machine running Microsoft Windows operation system.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Open a command window.
4. Change current directory to the unzipped folder.
5. Run keygen.bat. NOTE: The key generation tool requires Java runtime 1.4 or higher installed on the machine. If java program is not in the PATH, then open keygen.bat in a text editor and specify the full path to java program.
6. Select appropriate products and number of application users and click "Generate Key" button.
7. A license key will be displayed in the Tool below the "Generate Key" button.
8. Use the generated license when prompted by the Agile installer.

If you used the generic key for installing the product and later would like to switch to using a customized key:

1. Log onto the Agile Java Client as an Administrator user.
2. From the Admin tab, go to the Server Settings node.
3. Double-click Licenses, paste the new key into the License Key field.
4. Click Save
5. Restart the server for the new license key to take effect.

Concurrent User Licensing

ATTENTION! If you currently have an installation of Agile PLM software with concurrent user licenses (unlimited or 4:1), please contact licensecodes_ww@oracle.com to request a new license key. If available, please include your customer ID# and/or signed purchase contract available.

In the event that you need to activate some concurrent users temporarily, the product license installation key below may be used. NOTE: This key will expire at the end of the current calendar month and activates only 50 concurrent users. Oracle strongly advises that you request a permanent product license installation key that matches your exact licensed product configuration.

Release 9.3.x .pdf passwords for Agile Food and Drug
Administration Validation Pack

Passwords are required to view the Agile Food and Drug Administration Validation Pack .pdf files contained in Agile PLM release 9.3.x. Use the password that corresponds to the zip file named for each module.

Agile e-Series products (prior to Agile e6.0.4) require a license key for use.

You can obtain a permanent license key file specific to the products you have purchased by emailing your company name, customer number, CSI (Customer Support Identifier) number (if known) and HOST-ID to Oracle License Codes Support at licensecodes_ww@oracle.com.

To find out the HOST-ID for the license manager node, run the program UCHOSTID on the machine (node) where you want to run the license manager software. Note: Make sure that you run the UCHOSTID program as Administrator (Windows) or as root (UNIX) on the license manager node. You will find UCHOSTID executable in the installation package. See licemgr\windows\Uchostid for Windows or licemgr\unix\<platform>\uchostid for Unix Operation Systems .

Agile Advantage 2006 SP4 and SP3 Install and Product Keys

There are no changes in the product license keys for Agile Advantage 2006 SP4 and SP3. All information below regarding the Agile Advantage 2006 SP2 MP2 product keys remain the same for Agile Advantage 2006 SP4 and SP3.

The Agile Advantage 2006 SP2 MP2 install keys are not relevant for Agile Advantage 2006 SP3 since it is an upgrade package and does not include a full installer (setup.exe). However, the Agile Advantage 2006 SP2 MP2 install keys mentioned below are relevant for Agile Advantage 2006 SP4.
 

Agile Advantage 2006 SP2 MP2 Install and Product Keys

Agile Advantage 2006 SP2 MP2 requires two sets of keys, a server install key and client install key (or otherwise known as the serial number) and a product license key. The installation process will prompt for a serial number. The installed product will require a separate product license key.

Existing customers upgrading to AA2006 SP2 MP2 release

If you are an existing customer upgrading to AA2006 SP2 MP2 release from AA2006 SP1, AA2006 SP2, or AA2006 SP2 MP1, you can continue to use the same license key that you already have. If you are on any release prior to AA2006 SP1, then you will need to use one of the product license keys mentioned in the previous section in order to upgrade to AA2006 SP2 MP2.

Upgrading with one of the generic keys can alter the look or behavior of some areas of the application that you currently use. You can take note of the software license options prior to upgrading with a generic key. You can view your current license options by doing the following:

• Log into Agile Administrator.
• Go to the Licenses node and expand it to see the license options available.

After you upgrade using a generic key, review the software license options and only assign users to those that you require.
 

New customers installing AA2006 SP2 MP2 release

To prevent users from accessing areas of the application that you do not plan to implement, do the following:

• Log on to Agile Administrator.
• Go to the Licenses node and expand it.
• For each product license, go to the User's list.

Make sure users are only assigned to the product licenses which were purchased.
 

Releases Prior to 2006 SP2 MP2

Agile Advantage releases prior to 2006 SP2 MP2 require license keys for installation and use. License keys that do not technically enforce the license restrictions and restrict use of these pre-2006 SP2 MP2 versions of Agile Advantage are provided in the table below.

By using any of these license keys you are certifying that you have purchased additional licenses for Agile Advantage from Oracle. This key removes restrictions as to the number of seats available and their expiry. It does not authorize you to deploy Agile Advantage for use on the number of seats greater than what you licensed for such use. All license terms and restrictions specified in your Agreement and ordering documents / order forms remain in full force and effect.
