My Oracle Support Welcome Center

My Oracle Support is an integrated suite of online tools that provides users with:

• A personalized experience to enable faster problem resolution
• Proactive problem diagnosis and resolution
• Collaborative tools to connect with industry peers and support engineers who have first-hand knowledge of Oracle products, including Sun hardware and software
• An integrated platform to help streamline access to Oracle services

• MySQL customers and partners can begin accessing online support resources through My Oracle Support. The existing MySQL Customer Support Center and associated tools have retired over the February 11-13, 2011 migration weekend.
• Historical Service Request (SR) data migrated from the MySQL Customer Support Center to My Oracle Support, and received new ticket numbers as part of the migration. The new SRs, however, continue to reference legacy SR numbers to help minimize disruption. All open Service Requests for MySQL customers are available in My Oracle Support, as well as approximately two fiscal years of closed SRs.
• Existing MySQL support phone numbers have changed and customers should begin using Oracle’s global customer support numbers. Review "Calling Global Customer Support" for details.
• MySQL patches and downloads are available through My Oracle Support.
• Inbound email channels are discontinued. All new Service Requests, or updates to existing SRs, must be made either within My Oracle Support or via Oracle telephone support.
• My Oracle Support and Oracle telephone support utilizes Support Identifiers (SI) to verify entitlement. Your Oracle Support Identifier is a unique number, which identifies your organization and level of Oracle Support services to which you are entitled. During the weekend of February 11-13, 2011, MySQL Customer Support Center retired and MySQL support customers and partners were migrated to My Oracle Support.

• Ensure that your browser meets the technical requirements necessary to use My Oracle Support. If you are unable to meet these requirements, an HTML version of My Oracle Support, with limited functionality, is available.
• Visit support.oracle.com and register for My Oracle Support. You will be prompted to create an Oracle Single Sign-On account (your e-mail address and password) during the registration process. You can then sign in to My Oracle Support using your Oracle Single Sign-On account and a valid Oracle Support Identifier. Additional registration details are available in the My Oracle Support Registration FAQ. NOTE: If you are an existing Oracle support customer or partner, you already have access to My Oracle Support and do not need to re-register; however, you will want to add your Support Identifier(s) associated with your MySQL products to your user profile.
• Add additional Support Identifiers to your My Oracle Support user profile. Registration requires only one Support Identifier. If you have multiple Support Identifiers for your MySQL products, you should add them to your My Oracle Support account so that you are set up to manage your MySQL Service Requests. Once you login to My Oracle Support, access the My Oracle Support profile "Accounts and Privileges" page from the More / Settings tab. Enter the Support Identifier(s) sent to you via email and select the "Request Access" option.
• Inform your colleagues and partners that the MySQL migration is complete and encourage them to begin using My Oracle Support for their online support needs.
• Review MySQL Migration Assistance Training: Understand the fundamentals of My Oracle Support and important migration information by accessing the "MySQL Migration to My Oracle Support" recording and downloading the presentation.
• Access these training viewlets to understand the following features of My Oracle Support:
