Wipro has developed a SaaS platform called w-SaaS for rapid SaaS enablement and cloud deployment of business applications. The w-SaaS platform comprises of a framework of SOA based services, a Cloud Provisioning Fabric and a Unified Administration Console. Built on open standards, w-SaaS ‘SaaS-enables’ applications by injecting multi-tenancy, capturing metrics for metering and other relevant activities in a non-intrusive manner. In this presentation, Wipro will go through the steps of making an eCommerce Application SaaS enabled, creating a software image of the Application using Oracle VM template and deploying the application on Oracle cloud infrastructure.
