Alan Hartwell
Vice President, Technology Solutions and Channels Oracle Corporation UK, Ireland and Israel

Alan Hartwell, Vice President, Technology Solutions & Channels UK, Ireland and Israel, is responsible for growing the Oracle Technology license business with new technology-based solutions and taking them to market both directly and through partner channels. He also has oversight in the UK of Oracles Innovation Programmes, which are designed to stimulate creative approaches to working with customers among employees and Oracles emerging partners.

Alan joined Oracle in 1998 in the financial services vertical and moved to the Internet solutions group in the 'dot com' boom. After that he took over the role of Oracle Database 9i solutions sales leader for the UK and then progressed to be the Vice President of Marketing for the UK, Ireland and South Africa. He has also been the Vice President, Consulting UK, Ireland & South Africa, responsible for developing the Oracle Consulting Business of the future using Innovation as the key driver to find new markets and new ways of doing business with both existing and new types of customers.

Prior to joining Oracle, Alan headed up several presales and project management groups in the IT sector, and also worked in the Financial Services sector with various banking organisations, such as Lloyds TSB and Abbey National.

Brigitte Colombo
Senior Sales Consulting Manager Engineered Systems, Oracle

Brigitte manages the Engineered Systems Sales Consulting Team, a group of specialist pre-sales consultants with world-leading product and architectural expertise in the Oracle Exadata Database Machine and Exalogic. During more than 10 years at Oracle UK, she has worked as a Manager for Core Technology, a Solution Architect specialising in Technology for Applications including SAP and in Oracle Consulting as a Technical Architect, DBA, eBusiness Suite DBA and Solution Architect for all projects that exploit Spatial Technologies. She is a TOGAF 9 Certified Solution Architect and holds a Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute

 

Andy Sugden
SAP Technical Architect

Andy has 14+ years experience of architecting mission critical SAP solutions across the whole range of SAP components (including NetWeaver 7.x, CRM, SRM, Portal, PI, Utilities) for large customers such as Royal Mail Group, Thames Water, Birmingham City Council, Transport for London and Xerox. Andy is CSC’s UK SAP Technical Architecture group leader.

Gerhard Kuppler
Global Senior Director Corporate, SAP Account Server Technologies Division, Oracle Corporation

Gerhard Kuppler is the Global Senior Director Corporate SAP Account, Server Technologies Division at Oracle Corporation, reporting to John Gawkowski Vice President, Platform Technology Solutions.

Mr. Kuppler has been responsible for the overall relationship between SAP and Oracle over the past 13 years. Mr. Kuppler’s main focus, together with SAP, to create an optimized and customized set of infrastructures solutions for our shared customers. Mr Kuppler is a key contributor of the success of the "SAP on Oracle DB” program as the best global partnership for Database and IT infrastructure solution in term of reselling, development and support services for SAP customers.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Kuppler worked in various management positions at Oracle and Digital Equipment.
