The Challenge of Supplier Management

How would you rate the level of information you have at hand to proactively reduce management costs, improve performance and reduce the risk?

To explore the latest approaches of improving collaboration with suppliers and managing supplier risk, Oracle would like to invite you to a Supplier Management event, being held at our Customer Visitor Centre on Tuesday 25, September 2012.

During the event, a range of challenges common to the public and private sectors will be discussed, spanning both direct and indirect procurement arrangements, with a focus on:

How to maximise the supplier relationship – to gain greater efficiencies in the supplier registration, transaction and maintenance processes using Supplier Self-Service
How best to manage supplier risk – by embedding controls throughout the supplier life cycle and ensuring that supplier rationalisation initiatives do not introduce unsustainable dependencies

In this event Oracle will showcase through demonstration and presentation how their Procurement solution can address the issues of Supplier Management.

Anna Gude, Compliance Manager at Scottish Southern Energy, will share her experiences of deploying Supplier Self Service.
Padraic Phelan, Consulting Director at e-Three and former CPO at TUI, will discuss his views on Supplier Management.
