A significant number of CEOs and CFOs do not believe that HR executives are of the same calibre as other C-level members, according to research undertaken by the Economist Intelligence Unit on behalf of Oracle and IBM.

To discover what they want from a HR strategic leader and the role technology can play in delivering this, register now for our webcast. We will discuss how HR can improve its reputation and run through the main findings, that include:
  • 41% feel that HR are not ‘big picture’ people.
  • Only 1 in 10 say HR is ‘key’ at the moment.
  • 25% see HR as an independent advisor, rather than a member of the leadership team.

But it’s not all bad news, with 80% wanting HR to become a strategic partner. But when asked why it was difficult to measure the value of HR, a significant number cited a failure to sufficiently leverage metrics and poor IT systems.
