Balaji Bashyam Balaji Bashyam
Vice President, Global Customer Support Database, EM, Middleware and BI Products


Balaji Bashyam joined Oracle in 1996. Past roles have included directing Global Customer Support for Database advanced features as well as leading elite diagnostic teams to solve top priority support challenges. Today, Balaji is Vice President of Global Customer Support for Server Technology products which include : Database, Enterprise Manager, Engineered Systems, Middleware, BI and Hyperion. Balaji holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
Wei Hu Wei Hu
Vice President Oracle MAA Product Development


Wei Hu is the Vice President of High Availability Technologies at Oracle Corporation. He has contributed to every release since Oracle8i. Mr. Hu is in charge of developing mission critical database capabilities including Active Data Guard, flashback database, recovery, buffer cache, flash cache, and cache fusion. Mr. Hu is the overall high availability focus area leader for the Oracle Database where he drives high availability projects across the organization. Mr. Hu also manages the MAA (Maximum Availability Architecture) team that develops architectures and best practices for the Oracle database, Exadata, Oracle Public Cloud, Fusion Middleware, and Applications. Mr. Hu has B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds many patents for his work in high availability and is the author and co-author of two books and several papers.
Brad Tewksbury Brad Tewksbury

Brad Tewksbury is Senior Director for Oracle's Server Technologies Group, where he is the global business development leader for Oracle Exadata Database Machine and Big Data Appliance. Brad works closely with the product management, product marketing, global sales, pre-sales, consulting and alliance & channel teams to shape the strategy and deliver value based solutions to Oracle's customers and partners.

During his 16-year tenure at Oracle, Brad has worked in sales, strategy, operations and business development roles to create and support enterprise software and system solutions with myriad of Oracle core tech products in the business fields of mobile and wireless, sensor-based computing, collaboration, data warehousing, and business intelligence.

Brad holds a BA in Arts and Sciences from University of Vermont and AIEP, Asian International Executive Education from INSEAD.
Chris Chelliah Chris Chelliah
Vice President, Exadata and Strategic Solutions
Oracle Asia Pacific


Chris Chelliah is Vice President for Oracle Exadata & Strategic Solutions business in Asia Pacific. In this role, Mr. Chelliah is responsible for growing the Oracle Exadata Database Machine business across the region. In addition, Mr. Chelliah leads a team of solution specialists in Asia Pacific who focus on integrating Oracle's acquired products into the Oracle Technology license business.

Mr. Chelliah has more than 18 years experience in the information systems industry, of which 14 years is with Oracle Corporation across Asia Pacific, Europe and most recently, in North America. In previous roles within the company, Mr. Chelliah focused on technology consulting and implementation services in large, global projects for Oracle across the telecommunications, financial services, and government sectors where he was instrumental in meeting the business needs of customers through innovative software solutions.

Mr. Chelliah holds a degree in Computer & Mathematical Sciences, with First Class Honors from the University of Western Australia. He co-authored "Professional Oracle Programming", a Wiley publication. His work has been published in a number of trade and industry journals. Mr. Chelliah is a featured speaker on Oracle's vision, strategy and architecture and consults on all critical and key customer projects throughout Oracle Asia Pacific.
