Keynote: Plug into the Cloud with Oracle Database 12c

Oracle Database 12c introduces a new multitenant architecture that makes it easy to deploy and manage database clouds. Innovative features such as Oracle Multitenant, for consolidating multiple databases quickly, and Automatic Data Optimization, for compressing data at a higher density, maximize resource efficiency and flexibility. In this keynote we will introduce Oracle Database 12c and demonstrate why it is the ideal platform for cloud deployments.

Security Inside Out: Latest Innovations in Oracle Database 12c

Oracle Database 12c includes more new security capabilities than any other release in Oracle history! In this session you will learn about these capabilities, as well as innovative new solutions to protect Oracle Database instances and non-Oracle databases. Hear how Oracle is responding to customer requirements to stay ahead of the evolving threat and regulatory landscape with new preventive controls that include data redaction and a new unified platform that provides database traffic monitoring and enterprise wide auditing.

Maximize Availability with Oracle Database 12c

Being prepared for planned and unplanned downtime, and having a disaster recovery strategy in place, is of key interest for most IT professionals. Learn how Oracle Database 12c introduces a sophisticated set of integrated high availability (HA) capabilities that build upon Oracle’s Maximum Availability Architecture to help eliminate traditional compromises between performance, availability, and cost. This includes brand new technologies such as Global Data Services (GDS) and Application Continuity, and many enhancements to existing products such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Active Data Guard.

Automate Information Lifecycle Management with Oracle Database 12c

Oracle Database 12c introduces Automatic Data Optimization capabilities which allow organizations to use policy-based management to automate data compression and movement with minimal administration. In this session you’ll learn how the Heat Map provides deep insight into how your data is accessed by users and applications to trigger Automatic Data Optimization policies that reduce the costs associated with storing and managing more data, while improving database performance.

Simplify Consolidation with Oracle Database 12c

Oracle Database 12c introduces a new multitenant architecture featuring pluggable databases that allows you to manage many databases as one by simplifying database consolidation on the cloud. It fully complements proven database technologies such as Real Application Clusters, and offers all the benefits of schema consolidation including better resource utilization and scalability, but without the need to change existing applications. In addition, Oracle Database 12c also offers very fast provisioning and cloning of databases, rapid database patching and upgrades, and secure isolation of data. During this session, we'll examine use cases and benefits of this new multitenant architecture in detail.

Drive Database as a Service with Oracle Exadata

Oracle's next generation Database Machine, Oracle Exadata X3, is a pre-tuned, pre-engineered solution with database-aware optimizations to lower costs and simplify management. Using Oracle Database 12c and Oracle Exadata X3, customers can consolidate existing database workloads and automate manual processes to deliver Database as a Service. Learn about how customers can reduce IT costs through consolidation, store up to ten times more data, and accelerate time-to-market with Oracle Database 12c and Oracle Exadata Database Machine X3.

Managing Oracle Database 12c with Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c

Oracle Database 12c and Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c have introduced many great new features to make it easier and more efficient for you to manage the latest release of Oracle Database. Come join us in this session to get the details on these new capabilities such as; Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Express 12c, multitenant database management, testing database consolidation, integrated data masking at source. You'll also learn about the exciting new manageability features built into Oracle Database 12c such as Real-time Database Operations Monitoring, enhanced Real-time ADDM, Database Performance Hub and many more features that make Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c the best management solution for Oracle Database 12c.

Is your Middleware making your Database work hard for you?

The demands on your infrastructure are increasing. Whether it’s mobile users, connected devices or social media, there are more transactions and data to handle than ever before. So if your middle tier is costing you heavily in database resources, how will you scale? Oracle WebLogic Server 12c and Oracle Database 12c provide a complete, highly integrated mission critical Platform-as-a-Service that will help you meet demands whether you are using conventional systems, a full cloud environment, or something in-between. Join this session to learn how Oracle WebLogic is uniquely designed to take advantage of built-in cloud capabilities in Oracle Database 12c. Optimize database density for your middle tier by oversubscribing connection pools for cloud scale, support multi-tenant applications with pluggable databases, and ensure continuous availability and no lost transactions with transaction replay. Now that’s making your database work hard for you!
