Permanently Deleting an Application, Project, or Other Component

You can permanently delete any file (application, project, or file within a project) that appears in the navigator, no matter where it resides, from within JDeveloper.

To permanently delete an application, project, or other file:

  1. In the Application Navigator, select the file or files you wish deleted.

Note that you can only erase multiple files within the same directory or package.
  2. From the main menu, choose Filethen choose Erase from Disk.
  3. Respond to the confirmation dialog.

If you delete an application or a project, only the .jws or .jpr file is actually deleted. The elements contained within the application or project remain on disk. To delete them from disk through JDeveloper, you must do so explicitly.
