Before You Begin
Purpose
This OBE provides the steps to configure EnterpriseOne mobile applications to work with the Oracle Cloud instance of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

Background
The first time mobile users launch a mobile enterprise application, they are prompted to enter the URL of the AIS Server to access the application. Users must provide the URL in the correct format to access the mobile enterprise application.

Download the desired applications to your mobile device from your device’s application store (Google Play or Apple AppStore).
For information about mobile solutions offered by JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, refer to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Mobile Solutions page on the Oracle Learning Library site.
- Tap the icon to open the application on your
device.
Note that first time you access the application, the system displays the Cannot Connect to Server dialog box. You must enter a valid URL to connect to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne AIS Server.

To enter a valid URL, tap the text http://server:port and then enter the server location URL. The server location will be in the format nnn.nnn.nn.nn:7070, where nnn.nnn.nn.nn is the IP address for your Oracle Cloud instance of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

Tap OK to continue.

To log on, enter values in these fields and then tap Login:
- User Name
- Password
- Environment
- Role
- If you enter valid credentials, the application opens and is ready for use.
