Succession plans identify workers who are ready now, or can develop the necessary skills, for jobs and positions that aren't currently vacant, ensuring, a smooth transition and help you to manage candidate development.
HCM Data Loader for Succession Plans
Streamline the mass upload of succession plans using HCM Data Loader for succession plans. Decrease the time it takes to enter large numbers of existing succession plans into the succession management business process. Reduce the likelihood of errors that can occur when manually entering the data.

Oracle Fusion Talent Review is an analytic product enabling your organization to review and evaluate data from the profile, performance, goals, career development, and compensation management solutions.
Simplify the navigation for creating succession plans and talent pools by using deep links. You can use deep links to bypass the Succession Planning Overview page and go directly to the Create Succession Plans page to create succession plans or the Create Talent Pools page to create talent pools.
Duplicate Talent Review Meeting Configuration
Expedite the amount of time it takes to configure a new talent review meeting by leveraging the new talent review meeting configuration Duplicate feature. Simply select an existing meeting and select the Duplicate action. After you enter a new meeting name, you can optionally duplicate the meeting participants and review population, or add them manually. You can edit other meeting attributes before saving the new meeting.
Leverage the newly supported MEETING_ID parameter when creating analyses to add to your talent review meeting dashboard. This parameter allows you to run the analysis for your entire review population instead of having to select each individual reviewee in your n-box.
Search for Review Population Default Change
Simplify the way you search and add your review population by leveraging the new default for the Worker field which is now All Reports instead of Directs Reports. Searching for workers displays the list of direct and indirect reports of the manager. To view the search results hierarchically, use the Page Composer to enable the Tree View display option.

Simplify your succession plan search by using the new filtering panel on the Succession Planning page. You can filter your plans by plan name, status, plan type, job, position, or incumbent. This reduces the number of plans you will see listed on the Succession Planning page.
Using Oracle Fusion Goal Management, you can transform business objectives into goals across various organization levels, providing a clear line of sight from managers to employees. Business leaders can communicate high-level initiatives which managers can translate into goals for their employees.
Submit Goal Plans for Approvals Without the Preview Step
Accelerate the worker goal plan submissions for the approval process by using a single-click submit for approval action. Use Oracle Page Composer to remove the step to preview goal changes in the goal plan from the approval process.
Goal Plan Set Assignment Algorithm Changes
Improve robustness of the goal plan set assignment process. The earlier date-based comparison algorithm is now replaced with a more robust and faster algorithm. The new algorithm uses the comparison of the unique identifiers of review periods associated with the goal plan sets to decide the status of a goal plan set assignment. In earlier releases, the active or pending status of a worker's goal plan set assignment was determined by comparing the dates of the newly assigned goal plan set with the dates of the other goal plan sets assigned to the worker.
Extended Set of Person Search Fields in Administrative Tools
Use the extended set of person-related fields for searching performance goals data in all the administrative pages. By default, the Advanced search mode is disabled. Use Page Composer to enable the Advanced search mode.

New Notifications for Share Action in Task to Set Goals
Improve collaboration during the set goals task by enabling notifications when the worker or manager performs the Share action. The Share action unlocks the set goals task when the worker or manager has finished making edits. Separate notifications can be enabled to send to the manager if the worker uses the Share action, or to send to the worker if the manager uses the Share action.
Update in Use Performance Templates
Update additional attributes when a performance template is in use. Enable or disable star ratings, displaying calculated ratings, or allowing goal weight updates. Change warning and error requirements for rating and comments. Amend visibility of questionnaires, participant names and roles. After submitting changes to the performance template a process runs automatically to update all performance documents created from the performance template with the new configuration.
Add Participant Process Simplification
Simplify the user experience to search for and select participants to provide feedback. Provide the ability to search for direct reports of the worker being evaluated. Show the user the participants they previously selected for the worker being evaluated.
Streamline the Performance process for managers by eliminating the additional action of submitting performance documents for approval. Configure the process flow to enable auto-submit for approval tasks so when the preceding task is completed the approval task is automatically submitted.
Control Edits to Manager Evaluations when Submitted
Prevent additional edits to the manager evaluation after it is submitted to prevent confusion during approval or calibration. Configure the process flow so when the manager evaluation task is completed the manager can't edit any of the details without HR Specialist assistance.
Establish a culture of active performance management by enabling employees, managers, and matrix managers to conduct evaluations at any time for any time period and achieve real time performance outcomes aligned to better business results.
GetManager Function for Performance Approval Rules

Enter up to two gigabytes (GB) of data in goal success criteria and comments fields with their data type now as Character Large OBjects (CLOB). You can also now copy content from external sources such as Microsoft Word into these fields directly.
Oracle Fusion Profile Management provides a common foundation for the talent suite of products and other Oracle Cloud applications to retrieve, insert, and update talent profile information. Profile Management also supports the HR specialists, line managers, matrix managers, and employees in performing critical HR talent functions. Managing people and job profiles, career planning functions, managing, and tracking talent data can be also done through Profile Management.
Person Profile Security Enhancements
Enforce security for person profiles by:
- Using Oracle Fusion Applications data policies to secure content sections within the profile for any predefined or custom roles
- Using view and edit access privileges for each predefined content section within the profile
- Creating security privileges for custom content sections automatically and assigning those privileges to any predefined or custom roles
- Assigning privileges for each content section to predefined or custom roles by using the new setup task Manage Profile Content Section Access. By default, only IT Security Managers can perform this setup task.
Profiles Search Page Enhancements
Streamline the profiles search for HR specialists by using the enhanced Search: Profiles page. You can now perform the advanced profiles search capabilities on the page directly. The basic profiles search is no longer available on the search page.

For example, if the manager role is not allowed to update a particular rating as defined in Profile Management, the manager role will not be able to update the rating in Talent Review and Succession Management.
Enhance talent review notes entry by utilizing the new feedback component that is used in Person Spotlight and in Talent Review. The new Talent Review notes component allows the manager and facilitator to enter notes about workers in the review population and control who can see the notes.
Person Spotlight in Talent Review
View Person Spotlight from the talent review dashboard. The former Show Details dialog is replaced with Person Spotlight in the dashboard. Managers and facilitators can view additional information about a selected worker in Person Spotlight.

Manage your catalog of learning items. Learning specialists create courses and classes and make them available to all learners. Learners can easily search and find courses then select the best class to enroll and complete. Learning Specialists can enroll learners in courses and classes by searching through a company’s employee and organizational data.
E-Learning with Support for SCORM 1.2 and 2004
Upload and manage your eLearning content from the Manage Content page in the Administrator work area. Learning Cloud supports SCORM 1.2, 2004 (3rd edition) and AICC industry standards. You can then create self-paced online classes using this content.
Managing Learning Assignments and Track Completions
Require employees to complete learning published in the application by specifying a due date and can track their progress on these assignments. These requirements can be set by HR, legal and managers.
They can view the summary status of all required assignments across their entire organization.
Customize the application pages by embedding learning items to enhance application workflows. The new resource catalog components, Showcase and Association, enable you to present learning items that are relevant to the business workflow presented on the application page.
Using Oracle Fusion Goal Management, you can transform business objectives into goals across various organization levels, providing a clear line of sight from managers to employees. Business leaders can communicate high-level initiatives which managers can translate into goals for their employees.
Increased Size of Success Criteria and Comments Fields of the Goal Object
Enter up to two gigabytes (GB) of data in goal success criteria and comments fields with their data type now as Character Large OBjects (CLOB). You can also now copy content from external sources such as Microsoft Word into these fields directly.
Application Context Passing to Embedded Reports
Enrich application pages with context-driven analytics. You can now pass application-specific context variables, such as a selected worker, review period, or goal plan, to embedded Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) reports and generate highly relevant insights for managers and workers. Use the Resource Catalog to embed OTBI analyses and configure automatic parameter binding on the following application pages:
- Worker’s Goals

Selection of a Worker Goal Plan in the Organization Goal Assignment
Select a specific worker goal plan when assigning an organization goal as an organization owner on the My Organization Goals page. This feature overrides the automatic selection of a worker goal plan during the assignment of organization goals.
Enable Inclusion into Performance Document No Longer Available
Simplify the control of inclusion of worker performance goals in performance documents by using only the goal plan-level settings. The goal-level attribute Enable Inclusion into Performance Documents is no longer available. To include goals in performance documents, administrative users must now use the Review Period and Include in Performance Document attributes for a goal plan on the Manage Goal Plans page.
Profile Option to Restrict Entry of Decimals for Goal Weights
Prevent entry of values other than integers for goal weights on the application pages by using the new profile option HRG_Allow_Decimals_IN_Weights. By default, decimals are allowed in goal weights. Set the value of the profile option to N to disallow entry of decimals as the value of goal weights.

Administer Goals Task Enhancements
Reduce the time spent on your routine goal administration tasks using the new productivity features of the Administer Goals task:

- Copy and move multiple worker goals between worker’s goal plans and job assignments
- Mass update status and dates of assigned worker goal plan sets
- Open a worker’s Goals page directly from administrative pages
- Export selected organization goals, worker goals, worker goal plan sets, and worker goal plans pending approvals to Microsoft Excel files

- Select a specific worker goal plan to associate it with the mass assigned goals
- Preview the worker population corresponding to the eligibility settings
- Create a copy of a mass assignment process by using the Duplicate action easily
Oracle Fusion Performance Management supports features and functions for measuring and reporting worker performance.
Feedback in Performance Documents
Enhance the performance evaluation process by using the Feedback feature to display notes received by workers and get a better understanding of the worker's contribution to the organization. Feedback replaces Kudos on performance document pages. Any data previously entered as Kudos are converted to feedback notes. When enabled in the performance template, users can access feedback notes from the header of performance documents.
Populate Model Profile Competency Weights in Performance Documents
Leverage weights and minimum weights defined for competencies in model profiles in performance documents. When performance documents are populated with competencies using model profiles the document weights and minimum weights are also populated.

Augment your reporting on profile information of the worker with the new 'Box Assignment' dimension to report on the worker's box assignment. Augment your reporting on the Performance document eligibility subject area with the addition of the dimension ‘Review Period’. This helps reporting on the performance document review period and its time frame.
Enhanced Subject Area: Workforce Performance - Performance Rating Real Time
Augment your reporting on the Performance document rating subject area with the addition of a new attribute called "Performance Document Section Final Feedback Comments". This includes the final feedback comments provided in the evaluation by both the manager and worker.
New Subject Area: Workforce Succession Management - Talent Pools Real Time
Provide additional reporting capabilities using this subject area to report on talent pools and talent pool members. Talent pool owners and attributes such as pool status, business unit, and department are also available for reporting.
Enhanced Subject Area: Workforce Talent Review - Talent Review Meeting Real Time
Enhance your talent review reporting capabilities with the addition of all the ratings that can be calibrated during a talent review meeting. With this enhancement, you can report on any combination of ratings that are included in a review meeting.
