This dashboard development guide is intended to be a set of technical guidelines for the development of Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA) dashboards and reports. The goal of this guide is to make the design of OBIA dashboards and reports visually consistent for customers and to help best leverage Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) platform features.

Application developers and product managers can use these guidelines to create and modify components and page layouts using the OBIEE tool. Users of these guidelines are assumed to have a working knowledge of OBIEE Answers.

The guidelines section contains links to technical design guidelines for BI dashboards and are developed by the OBIA strategy team. Use these guidelines to create and modify OBIEE components and to apply design patterns. Additionally, relevant guidelines from OBIEE help documentation are included to provide developers with direct access.
