Oracle Offers Customers an Opportunity to See Next-Generation HCM Designs at the OHUG Conference

The Oracle Applications User Experience team will run an onsite usability lab and will be offering a conference session at the OHUG 2009 conference in Las Vegas, Nev., the week of June 15. OHUG (Oracle Human Resources User Group) is an organization devoted exclusively to providing users with valuable insight into Oracle and PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. Eye Tracking: A State-of-the-Art Tool to Evaluate HCM Oracle Applications

Come and see state-of-the-art innovations in evaluating the user experience. “Eye tracking” is an important new usability research tool that enables us to determine where a user’s visual attention is focused when completing online tasks. This information helps us make important interface design decisions, so that tasks can be completed more quickly and with less confusion.  Presentation: Oracle’s HCM User Experience Team Design Philosophy

This presentation is about the Oracle Applications User Experience design process, using  research on Generation Y, Social Networks, and the future of HCM applications. Kathleen Fauerbach and Pat Dues from the City of Las Vegas will talk about their involvement in Oracle’s UX Customer Participation Program. If you want to learn more about Oracle’s Applications User Experience team, the methodologies they follow and customer involvement in the design process, this is the right session for you. You will also hear about the HCM UX team’s research on Generation Y and Social Networks,  from studies conducted in 2008.
