Fusion Applications - The Window on Oracle Technology
Presenters: Debra Lilley, Fujitsu
Oracle launched Fusion Applications at OpenWorld 2010, which means you can finally see it. Does general availability mean everyone will rush out and move to Fusion Applications? Debra very much doubts it. In fact, Oracle is suggesting a co-existence strategy -- keep your existing applications and just pick the Fusion Applications modules that add value to your business now. And with the technology behind Fusion Applications, which is really a shop window for Oracle Fusion Middleware, you can do that. This is not just the same old user experience with new technology.
Debra Lilley is the Oracle Alliance Director and Fusion champion at Fujitsu. She is an Oracle ACE director and a Fusion UX Advocate for Oracle. She is also a director and Deputy Chair of the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) and leader of the Product Development Committee for the International Oracle Users Group Community (IOUC). She speaks frequently about Oracle strategy, applications and technology. Follow Debra on her blog at www.debrasoracle.blogspot.com or on Twitter at http://twitter.com/DebraLilley.
