Oracle OpenWorld Usability Feedback Sessions Highlights

The onsite usability lab at Oracle OpenWorld (OOW) was a great success again this year. More than 100 individuals participated in various usability sessions during three days. Nine feedback sessions, two interview sessions, six surveys, and for the first time, two group sessions, were conducted by various user experience teams.
Customers and partners brainstorm with the Oracle Applications UX team at onsite usability lab at OOW
One focus group session involved discussions around collaboration and gamification in Oracle online communities. Customers and partners were brought together to discuss how game mechanics could be used to encourage them to participate more in Oracle online communities, such as My Oracle Support and Oracle Technology Network. The purpose of the session was to gather ideas and opinions on how members involve themselves and what motivates them to participate in these communities. The session was informative and interactive. Participants discussed their wants and needs with Oracle usability experts and connected with other customers and partners. The following are comments from individuals who attended the focus group.

“Interaction and good group discussions. Having several people in the room from the Oracle team helped facilitate the discussion, and we felt that we were being listened to.”
