First measure what matters. A California water-quality watchdog sent drones over San Francisco Bay, collecting 35,000 images. It then partnered with a data analytics company that used artificial intelligence running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to sort through more than 2,000 annotations to describe various trash particles.  Three Companies That Trust Customer Experience to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure In June, Reliance Jio, India’s largest mobile telecom company, streamed the Cricket World Cup live, bracing for millions of people to hit its cricket streaming app at once. By running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Jio only needed half the servers it used when it ran on Amazon. Two other companies trusting their customers to the cloud. Moving to the Cloud: Four Back-Office Concerns Top concern on the list: Companies worry about losing the extensive customizations they’ve built. Some customizations will remain, but leaders also need to decide “whether they can afford to stay locked into best practices from years ago when others in their industry are adapting to constantly changing best practices in the cloud,” says Oracle’s Juergen Lindner.
