Five CMO Priorities for 2020
#1: Listen to customers. “We’ve been doing less traditional product marketing and are spending more time understanding what people are passionate about,” says Dino Bernacchi, chief marketing officer for Mazda North American Operations. After learning that Mazda fans are also fans of college sports, cooking, and traveling, Bernacchi reallocated some ad budget to include ESPN, the Food Network, and National Geographic.
