We are pleased to announce that on January 19, 2020, Oracle Partner Store (OPS) will release the below enhancements:
Renewal Notifications
With Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Modernization, Oracle will notify Value Added Distributors (VADs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs) on their upcoming SaaS Cloud Renewals.
These reminder notifications will be sent for eligible renewals 120, 60 and 30 days prior to the end date of Cloud Services (resell transactions) to provide early visibility on the renewals for end customers.
All OPS users with Partner Admin responsibility and the buyer email registered on the Cloud services plan will receive these notifications.
Cloud Solution Provider
Cloud Managed Services Provider (MSP) was renamed to Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP). Therefore, the "Direct – Cloud Managed Services Provider" transaction type has been changed to "Direct – Cloud Solutions Provider".
Freight Automation
While submitting an approval request, OPS will automatically calculate freight if the cart contains hardware items.
Saudi Arabia Customer Creation
OPS has been enhanced to comply with the legal requirement in Saudi Arabia to accommodate customer names in Arabic language.
While creating or registering a new customer in Saudi Arabia, OPS will display “Legal Company Name” field to capture customer name in Arabic language and “English Legal Company Name” field will be displayed to capture the company name in English.
Tax Registration Number - Egypt and Russia Only
As Oracle is required by Tax Authorities to report VAT numbers for entities located in Egypt and Russia, OPS will now collect this information.
