Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Asset Accounting provides an effective way to track assets for critical financial and reporting needs, enabling you to produce fixed asset reports, maintain purchase requests for assets, reconcile assets, and maintain tax information.
Work with Assets—Asset Search and Location enables you to locate asset information based on a description of equipment, equipment status, or location. You can also review and revise asset details and access the Asset Master.
Parent History—Review parent and component information. Also revise parent information for individual components and change the sequence of the components, review parent or component cost information and meter readings, and enter supplemental information.
User-Defined Depreciation—A company-specific depreciation method that you can create by copying and modifying the standard rules. When you set up rules for a depreciation method, you define a hierarchy of conventions that you want the system to apply to the cost of an asset.
Supplemental Data—Use Supplemental Data (information about an asset or equipment not included in standard master tables) to further define assets in the system, and report and track details that are important to the company but not included on the master record.
