Finance@scale. The shift to the cloud was integral to the transformation of our business model. To reimagine finance at Oracle, we focused on three key objectives. 1) Drive toward infinite scale by eliminating human intervention in our business processes. 2) Make the smartest decisions by continuously improving reporting and analysis capabilities. 3) Delight our customers and employees by providing a better interaction with finance processes.
Supply chain on steroids. More than 100 suppliers and 60 collaboration partners help us build thousands of products and fulfill tens of thousands of orders every year. But achieving new goals meant no longer having to rely on legacy on-premise solutions. We implemented our cloud-based supply chain suite to increase our pace of innovation, improve our manufacturing and supply chain flexibility, and gain the agility to navigate changing marketing conditions.
Sales super-shift. For customers, it’s all about a better customer experience (CX). Driving this is the Experience Economy, a dramatic shift in the power of consumers that inspired us to rethink, retool, and revamp our CX in entirely new ways. We transformed the sales and marketing experience by adopting a standard platform, eliminating duplication of effort, and creating proposals, custom demos, and services with efficient, consistent delivery.
HR for the people. Complex internal systems were getting in the way of our ability to innovate and support our most critical resource—our people. Oracle Cloud allowed us to focus on strategy and systems that give us better visibility into our talent. It gave us one end-to-end solution that is easy to use, has strong reporting and analytics, and is flexible enough to support our growth and acquisition strategy.
Marketing for micromoments. We wanted to be more responsive to customer preferences and let customers choose how and when to engage with us. We transformed the marketing experience by streamlining our infrastructure and consolidating all of our customer data to target micromoments and serve customers where they are—on social media, on the web, in apps, and more.
