Why Are We Building This?
Any analytics product must deliver an experience that allows you to get the information you need, when you need it, regardless of channel—desktop, mobile, or another application. Analytics should seamlessly fit into the way you work, not force you to work differently based on how the analytics product operates.

What is experience continuity?

Most analysts and consumers don’t consciously say, “I am doing analytics today.” They expect their analytics experience to be an inherent part of what they do, on an ongoing basis. The following is a typical example of a seamless analytics user experience that fits the way people work.

  • On the way into the office in the morning, you review Oracle Analytics data on your mobile phone. The information is automatically delivered to you based on your preferences. You do some light analysis and then put it aside for later.
  • When you arrive at the office, you open your laptop and the context of your earlier analysis on mobile can be picked up using the web interface—right where you left off. You continue with your analysis at your desk.
  • During the day, you share insights with your coworkers. You can hand off your analysis to someone else, who can then explore the data further, closing the analytics loop.
