Greg Pavlik is a senior vice president of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). He is responsible for product strategy, service delivery, and solution architecture initiatives for the OCI Data and AI service portfolio. His goal is to ensure Oracle has the most capable and performant platform in the market for end-to-end data management solutions in the cloud.
Before joining Oracle, Greg was chief product officer for Hortonworks, where he helped create the on-premises, big data industry from its early stages. Prior to that, Greg was vice president for product engineering at Oracle, responsible for a diverse portfolio of products in the Fusion middleware business.
Mervyn joined Experian in November 2015 and currently serves as Experian’s Chief Enterprise Architect. He is responsible for delivering architectural initiatives and enterprise wide standards for technology that drive revenue and improve efficiency in support of Experian’s group strategy.
Mervyn’s leadership roles within global organizations have gained him extensive experience in IT strategy and execution, cloud platform migrations, large ERP implementations, IT architecture, program management, systems design, people leadership and development.
His strategic vision drives transformative initiatives within Experian IT Services. Mervyn’sEnterprise Architecture team has partnered with product development teams to reinvent the way we work, delivering more value to the business and establish technology as a competitive differentiator for Experian. The API initiative is standardizing technology based on industry best practices across the enterprise to reduce time to market, facilitate more speed and innovation, and allow business to recognize revenue faster. It will also give Experian the ability to leverage an API management platform that will drive business decisions and provide global access to products, data and solutions across Experian.
Prior to joining Experian, Mervyn held senior level positions at Land O’Lakes Inc, a $14B co-operative in the retail, consumer packaged goods and agriculture industries. He led the architecture and development teams and developed strategy. He also held roles as the interim digital transformation leader, IT leader for M&A and business unit IT leader. Under his leadership the organization successfully rolled out big data platforms for precision agriculture, Internet of Things (IoT) on connected farms for over 4000 growers, analytics for margin contribution and financial reporting for a $5B business unit and migrated a significant portion of their IT landscape to the cloud. Prior to Land O’Lakes, Mervyn spent over 13 years at Ingersoll Rand in a variety of roles including enterprise architecture, global ERP transformation programs, development, and infrastructure.
Mervyn enjoys golf. Additionally, he loves all sports, such as hurling, Gaelic Football, rugby, soccer (Manchester United), American football (Green Bay Packers), basketball (Los Angeles Lakers) and baseball. He also enjoys traveling, cooking, and DIY especially when enabling connected home/smart home.
Bridget Long is a transformational leader who creates novel solutions, performs turn around work, and specializes in translating data into actionable insights. She is a data strategist with exceptional communication skills, business acumen, and a record of transforming ideas into actions with measurable results.
Bridget is the Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics at Ingersoll Rand, a multi-billion dollar global manufacturer of mission-critical air, fluid, and medical technologies. In her role, she is responsible for the transformation of data and analytics for the enterprise and enabling actionable insights throughout the organization. Previously, Bridget was the Global Commercial Analytics and Sales Operations Leader for Ingersoll Rand.
Prior to joining Ingersoll Rand in 2017, Bridget worked for Lowe’s Home Improvement corporate headquarters where she worked in roles of increasing responsibility in the internal research and sales analytics space.
Bridget began her career in academia as a researcher and college instructor. She taught research methods and communication courses at UNC Charlotte and Penn State University. Bridget has a master’s degree in interpersonal and public communication from Central Michigan University and a Ph.D. in communication and research methodologies from Bowling Green State University. Often described as polished and engaging, Bridget uses her background in public speaking to deliver complex messages to diverse audiences and facilitate meetings. A native of Flint, Michigan, Bridget resides near Charlotte, North Carolina with her family and enjoys boating and reading.
