Product Description:

Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core Policy supports centralized policy creation and session management across the network. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) and REST interfaces are provided to manage policy creation, configuration, and maintenance operations.

Policy offers the following interfaces to configure the solution:

  • A web-browser based Grapical User Interface (GUI).
  • A REST API based Machine-to-Machine interfaces.
  • Custom Values files to customize the Policy deployment.
  • Kubernetes Configuration Maps.

The GUI is implemented using web technologies over the HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP). 

The GUI is deployed as a service and is common across the Policy Functions; therefore the GUI service can be used to configure the Policy Control Function and the Policy and Charging Rules Function.

    The Policy Rule Creation screen is excluded from this ACR.  This screen uses Blockly open source software from Google to visually edit rule parameters to create blocks of policies that can be combined to create a single policy rule.  This is mouse-driven.  Keyboard usage is not supported.
